Headquartered in the Burj Khalifa District, Downtown Dubai – Cordell Partners is located within the heart of the financial services activity for the region across the GCC and are partnering with the best businesses in the region, building for the next 50 years of the UAE and beyond.
Founded by Oscar Orellana-Hyder and his wife Niki Mapouras-Hyder, between them they have close to 15 years Recruitment experience both from the City of London to the DIFC (Dubai International Financial Centre) and most recently the ADGM (Abu Dhabi Global Market).

Starting his career in 2011, Oscar has been recruiting into FTSE 100 (London) and Financial Services (UAE) companies across London & the Middle East Region exclusively. Building on experiences from Fortune 500 & FTSE 250 recruitment businesses in the DIFC, he specialises in the search and selection of executive leadership, senior management team, middle management and the pool of resources need to drive a business forward.
Sector focus is Investment Management, Asset Management, Alternatives, Family Offices, Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds, Venture Capital Funds, Banks, FinTechs and core Financial Services.
Oscar is a proud ambassador of NISAI – Women in Alternatives, a non-for profit organisation founded to promote and include women in the Middle East in his sector focus.
Niki Mapouras-Hyder
Co-Founder
Niki worked for Cobalt recruitment as her first role in the City of London placing Real Estate Investment professionals into REITs and RE firms across London and the UK. Since then Niki has had an operating role in the Naval & Military Club, Mayfair before transferring to the DIFC within Private Equity and subsequently having a role at Boston Consulting Group for the past 5 years.
Niki has recently launched her own consultancy – NMH Group, focusing on women back into the workplace, mentorships, advocacy to women and highlighting professional corporate women in the workplace.

Marwan Al-Falasi

It gives us, the co-founders of Cordell Partners – Oscar & Niki – immense pride and pleasure to publicly announce our first appointment to grow and enhance CP.
It is the utmost highest of honours and a true privilege to welcome our dear friend and local partner, Eng. Marwan Al-Falasi as The Special Advisor to the Board of Cordell Partners.
Marwan has a Master of Engineering degree from the George Washington University, he was instrumental in the design and development of the DIFC, Dubai when it was established in 2004 and has been working for Mubadala, Abu Dhabi since 2010 across multiple divisions, principally development & attracting the likes of Apple and other flagship names and brands to Al Maryah island.
Marwan will spearhead and act as a catalyst for Cordell Partners and it’s UAE National hiring practices providing invaluable insights into the local landscape.
